A Christian priest who found truth in Islam.
Idris Tawfiq was once a Roman Catholic priest. He holds a degree in English from the University of Manchester and a degree in theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome.
During a visit to a Muslim country, something deeply moved him. He noticed how Muslims constantly said “Alhamdulillah” in every situation—during ease and hardship, happiness and pain. Their faith, gratitude, and trust in God were not just words, but something sincerely rooted in their hearts.
That sincerity made him reflect. It sparked a journey of searching, questioning, and studying truth more deeply.
And that journey eventually led him to Islam.
Idris Tawfiq did not embrace Islam out of pressure or emotion, but through sincere reflection and conviction. He later dedicated his life to sharing the beauty and message of Islam with others and published many Islamic books.

: A vigorous eruption of the Sakurajima volcano was reported in Japan , with the ash plume reaching approximately 3,500 meters (11,483 feet) into the sky.
In Islam, natural disasters are reminders of the power of Allah and the fragility of this world. Allah reminds humanity through events in nature so people may reflect, return to Him, and recognize how dependent we are upon His mercy.
As Muslims, we should respond with prayer, patience, helping those affected, seeking forgiveness, and increasing in good deeds — not with mockery, arrogance, or spreading fear.
Stay safe everyone.

One of the core Hadiths in Islam encourages Muslims to put themselves in others' shoes before acting. Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
""No one of you becomes a true believer until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself.""
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Compassion represents the true spirit of Islam and how it cares about our societal relationships.
Can you imagine how beautiful, safe, and healthy it is to live among people who treat you that way? Although this doesn’t mean living in a utopia—mistakes happen—but Allah knows our nature and sets laws according to it to enable society to live in healthy relationships.
Have you ever experienced this kind of compassion? How did it change you?
