During Summer Season

Stone Age Culture
The life styles of Native Americans ranged from nomadic, semi-nomadic to static. They lived in separate tribes across the vast continent of North America and despite this many of them shared similar beliefs and culture. They occupied North America for thousands of years before the arrival of the Europeans. Their North American culture and pre-historic Stone Age lifestyle and culture had never altered in all of this time. They had never undergone the changes and transition to the Bronze Age culture or the Iron Age culture. Their weapons and tools were all made of stone, they had not experienced the use of metals, their culture was a primitive one.

Animism
Animism is a religion based on the spiritual idea that the universe, and all natural objects within the universe, have souls or spirits.
In this religion it is believed that souls or spirits exist not only in humans but also in animals, plants, trees, rocks etc. This belief and culture is also extended to natural phenomena such as thunderstorms and rain and geographic features such as mountains, caves or rivers.
The Native Americans worshiped animals, plants, the sun, rain, and wind refer to Power Animals and Animal Spirits. In festivals, ceremonies and prayers they tried to gain the favor of these gods.

Colors
Colors were important to Native American Indians as each color held a special sacred symbolism. The meaning of colors changed according to the purpose they were put to. For example, Colors used for face paint held a different symbolism than those colors used for War Paint. The Northwest tribes constructed totem poles that have unique features and colors depending upon the clan or tribe. The meaning of colors, ornamentation, and painted decorations used to adorn sacred Prayer sticks and Talking Sticks also had special meanings and were chosen for the attributes of the colors and how these might influence the outcome of an important event.
Sand painting designs were based on five sacred colors. They believed that the colors yellow, blue, white, and black were of great significance and meaning as they represent four sacred mountains and the four cardinal directions. The color red was also used to represent the sunshine and the Spiritual life

Songs
They believed that power songs can awake your own Power Animal. Power songs are acquired by spending a day in solitude and fasting in natural surroundings. During the day consider what animal you feel like, and create a song about it.
The Sun Dance
During the Sun Dance ceremony the participants pursued their vision quest through a four day ordeal in which they were first cleansed in a sweat lodge, undertook a long solitary experience exposed to the heat of the day and the cold of the night, had parts of their bodies slashed and were hung up by ropes attached to skewers in the shape of sharp animal claws, that were embedded in their flesh. The scars they bore served as a mark that they had undergone the Sun Dance ritual and had undertaken a difficult journey on their Vision Quest

Totem Poles
The word totem is derived from the Ojibwe (Chippewa) word 'odoodem' meaning "his kinship group". Totem Poles were not worshipped but they inspired respect.
A totem is an emblem, such as an animal or plant, that is believed to have spiritual significance and watches over the family, clan, or tribe symbolizing their guardian spirit or helper refer to Totem Pole Art and Design.
Totem poles are carved and painted with symbols and totems or figures such as animals, that represent the emblems of clans or families and relates to their belief in Totemism. Totem poles were made to fill a variety of needs, but their primary purposes were to commemorate people or special events. The first totem poles were carved as part of an elaborate Potlatch ceremony which was a great, expensive feast with deep meaning.
The Principal purposes and reasons for Totem Poles were:
 Potlatch Pole - to symbolize the generosity of the person who sponsored the Potlatch ceremony
 Legend Pole - To record a supernatural encounter
 Memorial Pole - To commemorate the life of an important person
 Burial Pole - totem poles were used as grave markers, grave posts or mortuary totem poles
 Heraldic Pole - Recording the history of clans or families

Native Wisdom
The native American believes that he must have balance if he is to have healing. His equilibrium must balance between his mental and spiritual influence. Such things may seem complicated in themselves but the simplicity is profound when we finally discover what it is.
In most cases, balance comes from what we say to ourselves in the silence of our minds. It is what we direct our minds to do at all times. Simple steps, pick the feet up and set them down, don't drag. Don't hang onto anything and everything. Say balance, say power, say to the feet and legs to do their work.
Eat for strength and keen minds. Stop saying how tired and how nervous we are. Say, I am strong. I have sufficient to meet my every need. Just words? Yes, but words that balance...

The life of native Americans inspired many artists in modern times, and their culture have illuminated many ideas about freedom, courage, courage and other noble values.
العصر الحجري
تراوحت أنماط حياة سكان امريكا الأصليين من البدو الرحل وشبه الرحل. عاشوا في قبائل منفصلة عبر قارة أمريكا الشمالية. وعلى الرغم من ذلك، فقد تشابه العديد منهم في المعتقدات والثقافة. وعلى رغم من مرور العديد من السنون الا ان ثقافتهم البدائية و نمط حياتهم اليومية ومعتقداتهم لم يتغيروا. كانت أسلحتهم وأدواتهم مصنوعة من الحجر ، ولم يختبروا استخدام المعادن.
الروحانية
الروحانية هي دين قائم على الفكرة الروح التي مفادها أن الكون ، وجميع الكائنات الطبيعية داخل الكون ، لها أرواح.
في هذا الدين ، يعتقدون أن النفس أو الروح موجودة ليس فقط في البشر ولكن أيضًا في الحيوانات والنباتات والأشجار والصخور وما إلى ذلك. هذا الاعتقاد والثقافة يمتدان أيضًا إلى ظواهر طبيعية مثل العواصف الرعدية والأمطار والسمات الجغرافية مثل الجبال والكهوف أو الأنهار.
الألوان
كانت الألوان مهمة جدا لأن كل لون كان له رمز مقدس خاص. على سبيل المثال ، كانت الألوان المستخدمة لطلاء الوجه تحمل رمزًا مختلفًا عن تلك الألوان المستخدمة في War Paint . وقد شيدت القبائل الشمالية والغربية أعمدة الطوطم التي لها زخارف وألوان فريدة من نوعها تبعا للعشيرة أو القبيلة. وايضا كانت للالوان معاني، وزخرفة مميزة. وايضا الزخارف المستخدمة لتزيين عصي الصلاة المقدسة والعصا المتكلمة أيضًا معانٍ خاصة وتم اختيارها تبعا لخصائص الألوان وتاثيرها.
واستندت تصاميم اللوحة الرملية على خمسة ألوان مقدسة. كانوا يعتقدون أن الألوان الأصفر والأزرق والأبيض والأسود ذات أهمية كبيرة ومعنى لأنها تمثل أربعة جبال مقدسة والاتجاهات الأربعة الرئيسية. وتم استخدام اللون الأحمر أيضًا لتمثيل أشعة الشمس والحياة الروحية
الأغاني
لقد كان سكان امريكا الاصليين يؤمنون أن للأغاني سلطة يمكن ان تساعد على استيقاظ قوة الحيوان الخاص بك. ويتم استدعاء تلك الاغنية عن طريق قضاء يوم في العزلة والصوم في الطبيعة. وخلال هذا اليوم يجب ان يكون التركيز على ما تشعر به بداخلك من قوة ومن ثم تبدأ في ترتيل الأغنية للاستدعاء روح ذلك الحيوان.
رقصة الشمس
خلال مراسم رقص الشمس ، يسعى المشاركون إلى تحقيق رؤيتهم التي رئوها بعد تجربة روحية فردية تستغرق أربعة أيام يتم فيها تطهيرهم اولا عن طريق التعرق في حرارة النهار وبرودة الليل.
أعمدة الطوطم
كلمة الطوطم مشتقة من كلمة "odoodem" التي تعني "مجموعته القرابة". لقد تم نحت أعمدة الطوطم ورسمها برموز وأطواق أو أشكال مثل الحيوانات. صنعت أعمدة الطوطم لتلبية مجموعة متنوعة من الاحتياجات ، ولكن أغراضها الأساسية كانت لإحياء ذكرى الاجداد أو للاحتفال بالمناسبات الخاصة. ومن الأهداف والأسباب الرئيسية لأعمدة الطوطم هى: إحياء ذكرى حياة شخص مهم - كطقوس جنائزية - تسجيل تاريخ العشائر أو الأسر

الحكمة
يعتقد المواطن الأمريكي الأصلي أنه يجب أن يكون لديه توازن بين حياته العقلية والروحية. وقد تبدو هذه الثقافة معقدة للوهلة الاولى، ولكن البساطة عميقة عندما نكتشف أخيرًا ما هي.

لقد الهمت حياة الامريكي الاول الفنانين في العصر الحديث، و انارت افكارهم بالكثير من الافكار عن الحرية والجرأة والشجاعة وغيرها من القيم النبيلة.
