BASF is active in Egypt for over 50 years. Until the establishment of BASF Ltd. in 2000, BASF was represented in Egypt through an agency, a delegation office and a branch respectively. BASF in Egypt had a turnover of around 120 million € in 2011 and employs 110 people. This organization is part of the Business Center Turkey, Middle East & North Africa (BCT) with headquarter in Istanbul.
