Working out before or after “Iftar” is a subject for debate but, either way you need to work out daily even during Ramadan. If you choose to work out before breaking your fast make sure you have complex carbs during your “Sohoor” and pace yourself. Stop your work out if you experience any dizziness.
If you decide to work out after sunset. Break your fast with something light, make sure you include simple sugars to give you energy to initiate your exercise. After you work out have another meal that includes proteins to repair your muscles.
