The launch of Egypt’s Startup Charter marks a defining moment—grounded in reform, not symbolism.

Since 2021, ERRADA approached the startup ecosystem as an integrated investment policy system.
This work was built on rigorous research, international benchmarking with the and the EBRD , and sustained engagement with founders, investors, and academia.

ERRADA helped drive a more coordinated and institutional reform framework in the startup sub committees headed by HE Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation.

Many of the Charter’s core foundations clear startup definitions, aligned governance, and enabling incentives are the result of years of evidence based policy design and ecosystem dialogue.

Today, ERRADA is digging deeper into implementation, embedding reform, measuring outcomes, and ensuring durable impact including advancing an MoU with MSMEDA , under the patronage of HE Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat -Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, to conduct a Regulatory Impact Assessment on government procurement quotas for and startups.

The Startup Charter is not the end it is where reform becomes institutionalized.
