We are now looking for a 2nd Level Operations Specialist that will be responsible for the coordination, integration, and ex*****on of changes in RAN networks. This person shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.
• Remote network integration, commissioning, and upgrade of 2G/3G/4G networks
• Provide telecom deployment field support during commissioning process
• Ex*****on and validation of RF/capacity-planning and optimization requests
• Troubleshoot customer related RAN issues
• Provide daily updates to project management team for tracking purposes
• Availability to work during night and weekend shifts (allowances applied)
• Knowledge transfer to required entities based on project management requests
You will bring
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or Engineering (IT, Telecom).
• 2G, 3G, and 4G theoretical knowledge
• DUG, DUW, and Baseband cabinets HW knowledge
• IP, SDH networking knowledge
• NMS knowledge (ENM & OSS)
• NMS supporting tools knowledge (MOSHELL, CNA, Winfiol, SHM, SMO)
• MS Word, Excel, power point, outlook
• UNIX knowledge
• Supporting scripting programming languages (VB, Python)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Telecommunication/IT
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to learn new products
• Good English skill, both writing and speaking.
• Creative thinking and generate innovative ideas during work.

· Second Line MS engineer responsible for Telecom security firewalls of Telecom Egypt.
· Responsible for project support integration & new nodes’ acceptance.
· Providing technical solutions regarding hardware and configuration problems in the agreed time frame.
· Specialized troubleshooting for Juniper, Fortigate, F5, and Palo Alto firewalls.
· Ensuring fast response, accurate actions, and decisions during a crisis.
· Handling CSRs with customer support team E2E.
· Ensuring reliable accurate solutions provided by support
· Responsible for verifying new solutions from the post-planning team.
· Reviewing new projects’ documentation (HLD, LLD ATP)
· Verifying test cases and ensuring the applicability according to the network current setup scenarios.
· Migrating new services and nodes to live network while avoiding incidents or major issues.
· Leading major cases troubleshooting with other domains (ex. EPC and IMS).
Periodic auditing on license-controlled nodes to raise flags in case of traffic profile changes.
