Hi Be Fluent followers 😊
Have you ever had to 'buy time'?
Buy time?!
Time isn't something that we can buy!
You're absolutely right!
But native English speakers use this idiom: 'To buy time' to mean doing something that allows you to have more time to finish something else.
e.g.
He tried to buy time by saying he wasn't feeling well.
Okay!
Now, can you think of any situation when you had to 'buy time'?
Have you ever tried to buy time?
If so, let us know what happened, in the comment section, and what you did in order to buy time.

Tips on How to Answer Challenging Interview Questions:
Question # 1:
What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths= strong points, things you’re good at.
Weaknesses= weak points, things you're not good at نقاط الضعف
For this question, you need to mention your professional strengths and your professional weaknesses.
a- Strengths:
I'm a goal-oriented person who works at a fast pace.
b- Weaknesses: (Tricky part )
Remember that while mentioning your weaknesses you need to turn them into strengths to show that even your weaknesses would be advantageous to the organization:
Therefore, the interviewee needs to show:
1- You're keen to Improve those weaknesses and work on them
and
2- Mention how you manage your weak points.
For example, how do you work with your team members to reduce the effect of those weaknesses?
I'm very detail-oriented, however I work at a fast pace.
Another professional weakness, for instance, could be that you're shy and this causes your inability to start communicating.
Sometimes I can be a bit shy but recently I’ve been focusing on myself and trying very hard to start conversations.
That's it for today. Thank you and see you in part 2!:)
