Investment in Egypt’s digital training budget has witnessed significant growth in recent years, rising from EGP 32.5 million in fiscal year 2014/2015 to EGP 400 million in fiscal year 2020/2021. It then jumped to EGP 1.1 billion in fiscal year 2021/2022, while spending on digital training and qualification programs continued to expand, reaching EGP 1.7 billion in fiscal year 2023/2024, before recording EGP 2 billion in the fiscal year 2024/2025 budget. This reflects the accelerating investment in digital skills development and the building of technological talent in Egypt.

To support agro-industrial projects and maximize the value of agricultural products in the New Delta, Mustaqbal Misr (Future of Egypt) Industrial City was established to transform crops into products ready for trade and export.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation announced a major increase in local wheat procurement rates for the current season. The quantities supplied so far have exceeded 3.2 million tons, achieving 64% of the total procurement target. This comes within the framework of an integrated system of facilitations and financial incentives approved by the state to support Egyptian farmers.

The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) reviewed the executive position of various industrial financing initiatives, including the Working Capital Financing Initiative, the Distressed Factories Restructuring Initiative, and the Easy Financing Initiative for Machinery and Equipment.
