My last few days in Cairo were a whirlwind of great conversations, delicious food, and the very real reminder that what I’m trying to build matters.

Dana Khayrat - your vision for what’s possible and how to best serve your clients is inspiring. I can’t wait to hear how the pieces come together this summer. Still can’t believe how snaky you were 😉🤭

Reem Sabri - thank you for your years of support and teaching as I’ve been relearning Egyptian Arabic. But more importantly your friendship, all the laughs, and the cake!!

I believe business is one of the most powerful forces for good on the planet.

We know businesses don’t always act this way, but they have the potential to when the people leading it decide that valuing their people and building something successful aren’t a tradeoff.

This weekend, the HeartProfit board gathered to do the hard, necessary work of strategic planning. We had hard conversations, made even harder choices about our limited resources, and did the kind of intense creative wrestling that only happens when a team is willing to go all in together.

We came away with a locked strategy, clear priorities, and a deeper sense of identity as an organization. We know who we are, we know what we’re building, and we know why it matters.

HeartProfit exists to transform the way we do business by developing human-centered leaders, equipping organizations to perform differently, and building a movement that makes valuing people and achieving extraordinary results the new normal.

That’s the core of everything I do, and this weekend reminded me that the work is worth it, especially when you’re doing it alongside people who believe in it as deeply as you do.

I’m honored to lead this team, and I cannot wait to see how we change the world together. 💙
