اليوم هو اليوم الدولي لعدم التسامح مطلقًا مع ختان الإناث. ولا تزال مصر واحدة من أكبر خمس دول لا تزال تمارس هذه الجريمة البشعة. يوجد في مصر أكبر عدد من النساء اللاتي تعرضن للختان في العالم (حوالي 35 مليونًا) والعديد من هؤلاء النساء يعانين من مضاعفات تغير حياتهم بسبب ختان الإناث. هؤلاء الناجيات بحاجة إلى الدعم ويستحقونه، ولهذا السبب بالضبط قمنا بفتح ريستور.
