my brother Deng Bol Aruai Bol — the founding father of the Nile Republic! History shall remember that on this blessed day,while most of us were just fighting with electricity and slow internet, you went ahead and fought for a whole new country!

Truly, this is the spirit of innovation! While others are declaring tax returns, you’re out here declaring independence. While we’re still waiting for salaries, you’re busy waiting for recognition from the UN. Priorities! 😂

I must also appreciate how official everything sounds — “Provisional Government,” “Defence Forces,” and of course, the legendary Gmail address. Nothing says sovereignty like:

> “For national matters, kindly contact us at [email protected].”

I can already see it now — the first cabinet meeting on Zoom, poor connection, everyone shouting, “Hello? Can you hear the Republic?”

But jokes aside, your passion is admirable. It takes vision (and data bundles) to dream this big. I just hope The Nile Republic will have stable power, functioning schools, and at least one working traffic light before we apply for passports. 😅

And please, when the currency is ready, make sure it’s not called the Bol — otherwise we’ll all be “broke in Bol.”

All in all, salute to your courage, my brother. Whether this republic ends up on the map or just in our hearts (and newsfeeds), it’s definitely given us something to talk about.
