My name is John Eskander and I’m based in Dahab, Egypt. I’ve liked to draw and paint since I was a small child growing up in Heliopolis, Cairo. At Ain Shams University, I majored in Graphic Design and Illustration. Despite this, I never thought of myself as being good enough to be an illustrator. I took all my electives in the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University so I could be sure to get a job
