A local collegiate programming contest was held in the Syrian Computer Society in Lattakia , 12 teams from IT Engineering and Computer Science faculties participated .
Team "NZT48" (Kamar Makdid, Sami Emad, Louay Nasser) took the first place, they also took the SteadFast Gurus Award, Team "The Phoenix" (Alaa Saleh, Hussein Alahmad, Ali Ibrahim) took the Second Place and the Solid Programmers Award, Team "Aces" (Marwa Daoud, Ali Hassan) took the Third Place and the Extreme Programmers Award, Team "Just A Try" (Rahaf Zalaf, Reham Mohammad) took the Relentless Programmers Award.
