💬 We have news to share - our team welcomes the new CEO Romet Rahuoja 👏

As of today, Anu Einberg will step down from the position of CEO at Mooncascade. 🌙 Having been with the company since 2017, the former CCO and partner Romet Rahuoja will be taking on the new role as the CEO of Mooncascade.

Having worked as CEO for the past five years, Anu will pass the leadership role to Romet, who has over a decade of experience in IT and software development.

🤝 "Romet is an excellent leader who has proven himself at Mooncascade and is trusted by the team. His background in business development aligns with the company's goals for expanding into international markets, making me confident that this change will drive the company forward," says Anu.

Romet Rahuoja will take on the CEO role starting from February 1st, with a primary focus on steering the company towards sustainable growth. "Recognizing the complexity of this role, my goal is to ensure our success in the evolving landscape of both domestic and international markets, continuously delivering top-tier digital services from design to development, all while prioritizing the well-being of our clients and supporting our employees at every step," states Romet Rahuoja. 🌐

🔙 Throwback to our incredible experience at Droidcon from 5-7th July 2023! Here are the key takeaways from our Android team:

1️⃣ Hybrid and Multiplatform Applications: The discussions around Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) showcased its maturity as a good alternative for hybrid apps, enabling shared code writing in Kotlin while still allowing native Android and iOS UI development.
2️⃣ The Hot Topic - Compose: Compose continued to steal the spotlight as a game-changer - time to say goodbye to traditional XMLs and embrace Compose for writing Android UI code. The talks emphasized creating complex UIs with Compose while ensuring optimal performance and smooth user experiences.
3️⃣ Security Matters: Highlighting the importance of securing mobile apps, the talks covered various aspects, from code obfuscation to new products designed to enhance app security.

👉🏻 But it wasn’t just about the technical talks… What truly makes Droidcon unique is the sense of community and pure enjoyment. 🤝 We’ll always cherish moments like Ben Kadel’s hilarious yet informative talk on practical ADB usage, leaving us in tears of laughter.😅
