Dear Clients,
Since the mandatory introduction of electronic invoicing via Peppol on 1 January 2026, several cases of fraud involving fake invoices have been reported.
Despite the security measures in place on the network, fraudsters may impersonate legitimate suppliers in order to send fake invoices, particularly those containing new bank details.
We therefore recommend that you:
systematically verify the supplier’s identity;
check the amounts and bank details;
remain vigilant for any unusual changes to bank account details.
If in doubt, contact the supplier directly before making any payment.
