The international guests of the Centre for Digital Health brought us together for an inspiring afternoon of lectures, discussion, and knowledge exchange.
The event was opened by Digital Health MSc programme Director Doris Kaljuste, who introduced our guest speakers.
We had the pleasure of hearing from 🇭🇷 Anamaria Malešević, who spoke about readiness for digitalisation and AI in healthcare, sharing examples from Croatia and the experiences of patients with autoimmune diseases.
🇯🇵 Jeyoon Choi introduced NeuroTAIA, exploring how individuals can gain enforceable control over their brain data and how advances in computational neuroscience can support data governance in neuroimaging.
🇩🇪 Prof. Dr. Daniela Eidt-Koch shared insights into digital health technologies and recommendations for their further development and adoption in Germany, drawing on best-practice examples.
The afternoon was a wonderful opportunity to learn from international experiences, exchange ideas and connect with colleagues across disciplines and countries.

🎓✨ Two inspiring days of Master’s thesis defences and celebration in the Digital Health programme!
The topics ranged from Virtual Reality-Based Mental Health applications to Governance Structures and Decision-Making in National E-Health Initiatives, reflecting the diversity and innovation within the digital health field.
The thesis defences were followed by a warm festive gathering, celebrating the students’ dedication, achievements, and the supportive community behind their journey.
