BLRT Grupp

The first of two hybrid, ultra-low-emission split hopper dredgers, built for RN Shipping A/S by Western Baltija Shipbuilding, part of BLRT Grupp, has been successfully launched and has departed Klaipėda Port.

Building this type of vessel requires exceptional precision and complex technical ex*****on. The split-hull design, specialised opening mechanisms, and advanced structural solutions demanded innovative assembly methods and close coordination between our production teams, engineers, subcontractors, and the customer throughout the project.

The launch of BORR R was successfully carried out by our specialists using a semi-submersible barge. The vessel has now entered the next phase of its construction journey, while the remaining outfitting works will be completed by the owner.

Meanwhile, construction of the sister ship, BESTLA R, is progressing steadily at our Klaipėda yard, with major hull sections already under assembly.

BLRT Grupp võõrustas hiljuti Tšehhi Vabariigi kõrgeid esindajaid. Kontserni väisasid Tšehhi suursaadik Eestis Zdeněk Beránek ning Tallinna saatkonna asejuht Daniel Horák.

Muuhulgas tehti diplomaatidele ringkäik mitme tütarettevõtte tootmisaladel, kus nad said isiklikult veenduda Tšehhi tööstushiiu Škoda tööpinkide usaldusväärsuses ja töökindluses.
