🌍⚓ Second Erasmus+ Mobility in Italy
From 18 to 21 May, we participated in the second mobility of our Erasmus+ KA210 project "Marine Pollution in Maritime Studies", hosted in La Spezia, Italy.
Students and teachers from Türkiye, Italy, Spain and Estonia came together for a series of educational and practical activities focused on marine pollution, its environmental impact, and sustainable solutions for the future of our seas.
During the mobility, participants attended student presentations, worked with maritime simulators, visited the Naval Technical Museum of La Spezia, learned about mussel farming, explored Lerici and Portovenere, carried out microplastics-related activities, and took part in workshops on recycling and waste sorting.
The mobility provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen environmental awareness, develop international cooperation, and promote active learning through real-life experiences. Participants not only expanded their knowledge of marine ecosystems but also exchanged ideas, cultures and perspectives with peers from across Europe.
