The Netherlands has always pulled me back—there’s something in it, quiet but persistent, like a subtle current you can’t quite name. This event is part of that pull. ❤️

Eindhoven is a small but layered city. Visiting again felt different, like stepping just a little deeper past the surface. We arrived on Thursday, giving us time to wander before Friday’s setup and the opening rites.

The community that forms over the weekend feels almost conjured—visitors, vendors, and staff drawn together by something unseen, yet unmistakable.
I feel like I am among my kind. ❤️

Thank you to the organizers, from my small black heart. I hope whatever force guides these paths will bring me back next year. ❤️

Nearly 200 candles have already found their way into the world.
Most of them traveled in Finland. Some traveled farther.
None of them were made in a hurry.

Each candle is made by hand.
Not just the pour and the finish — but the mold itself. From start to finish.
A slow process where every step matters.

This isn’t something made by repetition.
It’s made by doing — the same hands, the same tools, a different moment every time.
That’s why no two are ever exactly alike.

Nordic aesthetics are not decoration here.
They come from silence, long dark seasons, wire in the spine, and the idea that not everything needs an explanation to hold meaning.

A candle isn’t just for light.
It’s for moments you don’t share with everyone.
