Bonsai is an after-school program for at-risk children in Manta, Ecuador. Bonsai is an Inca Link ministry in collaboration with Iglesia Bíblica Bautista de Manta (Bible Baptist Church of Manta), and is hosted in the church’s facility. A huge thank you to Trinity for continuing to provide school supplies for our Bonsai kids. Because of you, every student walked in on day one with full backpacks.
And thank you to the Jacobsons for coordinating and personally bringing some of the supplies down to us. Getting them here takes real work behind the scenes, and we don’t take it for granted.
We’re grateful for partners who show up year after year and make sure our kids feel supported from the very first day.

The fun keeps rolling at Bonsai this summer! ☀️ This week: making slime and eating pizza. 🧪🍕 Tia Nelly is making sure her kids stay sharp with their multiplication facts too. Sticky fingers, full bellies, happy kids.
