تقع ولاية خنشلة في الشرق الشمالي الجزائري و بالتحديد في منطقة الأوراس 🌄،
يعتقد أن المدينة استمدت اسمها من اسم ابنة الملكة الامازيغية ديهيا🫅 المعروفة عند العرب كهينة.
تسمى ايضا هانسالا وفقا للوثائق ما يعني "خن او حن " حمامة او طائر، و شيلا او شالا او سالا تعني "السلام".
يحدها
🔹 شمالا أم البواقي،
🔹جنوبا ولاية بسكرة و الوادي (وجهاتنا السابقة)
🔹غربا ولاية باتنة،
🔹شرقا ولاية تبسة.
وتمتار بمواقع اثرية عديدة🏺⚱️ نظرا للحضارات التي مرت عليها🏛️
منها حمام الصالحين الروماني⛲ و قصر الجازية او ضريح سيدياس🗿

Khenchela is located in the east of Algeria,in the Aures region 🌄,
The city derived its name from the name of the daughter of the Berber queen Dihya, known to the Arabs as Kahina.
It is also called Hansala, according to the documents, which means "a pigeon or a bird", and Sheila, Shala or Sala means "Peace".

Khenchela is bordered
🔹By the Wilaya of Oum El-Bouaghi to the north,
🔹By the Wilaya of Biskra and El Oued(Where we hosted alcpc previous edition) to the south,
🔹By the Wilaya of Batna to the west,
🔹By the Wilaya of Tebessa to the east.

Khenchela has many archaeological sites 🏺⚱️ due to the civilizations that have been passed through the region 🏛️,
The Roman Bath of the Righteous ⛲, Al-Jazia Palace and The Tomb of Sidias 🗿
