We announce the death of Hayden Mayers better known as “Fat Cap” age 75 of Pottersville who resided at Stockfarm. He died on Saturday 13th June, 2026.

He was the husband of: Hethline Mayers

He was the father of: sons- Darius, Yannick, Kevin and Hayden Jr.

Daughters- Marissa and Sharon Mayers.

He will also be remembered by his:

Brothers: Henry, Alvin, Ashton, Julian and Peter Mayers in the United States of America.

Sister: Clara Defoe

Daughters-in-law: Tamara, Ezra and Shernica

Brothers-in-law: Peter Defoe and Nordine Mcpherson.

Sisters-in-law: Gloria, Marcella and Merlyn.

Grand-daughters: Kaliene and Yannel

Grandsons: Jairon, Jayden, Malakai, Jahmarie, Jahriel, D’ajani, Dajanel, Mahres, Jaylen and J’shawn.

Nephews including: Wellington, Shem, Kelson, Kelvin and others names too numerous to mention.

Nieces including: Henslyn, Henrietta, Hennerlyn and others names too numerous to mention.

Cousins including: Hazel, Everlyn and their family, Joyce, Lawrence Bunche and family, Romain family in St. Croix, Lucia and family, Morris and family and Jeanette Rolle and family.

Close friends: Samuel Belle, Baba, Brother Jude Vigilant and family, Brother Florian Mitchel and family and the community of Stockfarm.

The body of the late Hayden Mayers better known as “Fat Cap” of Pottersville who resided at Stockfarm can be viewed from 9:30am on Thursday 25th June, 2026 at the Deliverance Baptist Church. The funeral service will take place at 10:00am and will be followed by interment at the Roseau Public Cemetery.
