so houses several other cultural projects. At BALI the same group of eight participants are working full time with music, together with the leader of the project. It is kind of a collective research in music, with daily experiments in different musical subjects, on a big selection of musical instruments. The most important substance of all musical activities is the musician’s own ideas and initiatives. This concerns both the creation of their own compositions and lyrics, e.g. a pop song, and the more untraditional improvisations on different acoustic instruments. A large number of concerts, on parties, festivals and music congresses, has demonstrated not only BALI’s professionalism, but also an innovating and sensational way of playing its own music.
