What a great experience performing at and attending the web audio conference at thank you IRCAM and the wac25 team for an inspiring experience!

This is a three-minute example of my latest methodical transfer epistemic art–science project at ITU IT University of Copenhagen:
AirPrint — an app-based exploration of urban air quality.
The music reflects the concentration of six air pollutants measured in central Copenhagen on May 7th at 6:48pm.

Each pollutant is assigned a specific tone, together forming a D7♯9 chord — a harmonic structure with an unresolved tension.

SO₂ provides the root (D)
O₃ the major third (F♯)
NO₂ the minor seventh (C)
CO the sharp ninth (F)

These tones shift in volume according to real-time concentration data, using logarithmic scaling to reflect perceptual sensitivity.
PM2.5 is translated into fine-grained static; PM10 into coarse, slow-moving noise.
The resulting texture is a sonic imprint — a sound print — of the atmospheric composition at a specific moment in time.
