all my experience together and start my own consultancy. Adding my personal experiences as an expat mother of two young children, I am here to help you. Whether you are questioning your parenting methods with your three year old who keeps throwing temper tantrums or whether you have been supporting your child or student with autism to your best ability and feel at a loss with new challenging behavior, I am here. My practice is based on the notion that all behavior is communication. It is a way for our children and/or students to let us know they are struggling with something and need help. Therefore, my sessions are not focused on trying to 'quickly fix the problem'. They are focused on the why, how and then the way forward. Together we will try and see why the behaviors are happening and what we can put in place to support the child to no longer need those behaviors. We will work towards increased sensitivity and understanding of each other, using the connection you have with your child or student. This will allow both you and your child or student to feel more secure and empowered, resulting in positive changes. Besides sessions for families and schools, I also host parent support groups. In our western society we no longer have our 'village' to support one another in the incredibly fun yet complex task of raising and supporting our children. Through my parent support groups I strive to offer you this community: a place where you can vent, exchange stories and ask each other and myself for advice.
