Earlier this month, we hosted the annual GN Open House – a day for colleagues across GN to explore new products, share insights and connect across brands and businesses.

For Vanesa Kerkelic, Senior Product Marketing Manager in GN's Hearing division, the event turned our purpose of bringing people closer into a very real moment. While demoing with our latest ReSound Vivia hearing aids and the ReSound Smart 3D app, she met a colleague from R&D who had helped develop the Auracast specifications for our hearing aids but had never experienced the technology in action before. It became a true end-to-end moment - from concept to real-world implementation.

“GN Open House provides a platform for knowledge and insights sharing across different businesses and departments – and we also get the chance to connect with colleagues we usually don’t work closely with. There are many things happening behind the scenes that we don’t get to see in our daily work. That’s why it’s especially rewarding to see where ideas originate – and, for others, how concepts are ultimately brought to life in our products and marketing communication.”

The day also gave her a chance to revisit her Jabra roots, discovering innovative earbud prototypes that might come to market in the future – a reminder of how we at GN keep pushing new use cases and experiences.
