Picsfromthepit

In December 2010 I was sent on my first job for regioactive - it was really bad weather, snow and the streets were icy as hell. But I wanted to see Mark & Isobel so bad and so I took the car and drove to Darmstadt (usually a 45 minute drive, that evening it took me nearly 2 h). I arrived just at the time to capture the first three songs without flash. While Isobel was center of attention, being charming and cordially, Mark tried to melt with the shadows and it was really a challenge to get him framed. He seemed to be surrounded by a soft, unsharpened darkness all the time, crooning and murmuring his parts. This is one out of three pictures i got of him. Godspeed Mr. Lanegan, your darkness brought a lot of light to this world, especially to mine. Thank you!

Kurz vor Weihnachten hatte ich das immense Vergnügen, zusammen mit diesen sechs netten jungen Burschen ihren 15. Geburtstag zu feiern. Es war fantastisch! Auf 15 weitere Jahre, doomwards let us row!
