Pride Month

October is Pride Month on O‘ahu and a celebration of the MVPFAFF/LGBTQIA+ community. Daily events all month long include the Pride Run/Walk 5K, Pride Beach Volleyball, talent contests and more still-to-be-announced activities. The annual celebration is highlighted by Honolulu Pride day on October 19, spotlighting a pride parade through Waikīkī, as well as the Honolulu Pride Festival with national and local entertainers, craft and merchandise vendors, a resource fair, food and beverage booths and plenty of aloha.

Taiwan to Host WorldPride 2025

Following to be the first Asia country in history that legalized same-sex marriage, Taiwan is once again proving it's LGBT friendliness by winning the bid to be able to host the WorldPride in 2025, and continue to be the first country that bring WorldPride into East Asia, beat out Washington D.C's Capital Price Alliance to host the event.

We also have our Taiwan Pride parade every year since 2003, and with the parade in October 2019, we achieved the largest LGBT event in the whole East Asia with more than 200,000 participants.
