RT Motorsports has an exciting opportunity available for a rider in the EuroMoto (IDM) Sportbike Championship!

As the 2025 championship-winning team, we are looking for a motivated and talented rider to join us in the fight for the title. Riding the Triumph Daytona 660, you will become part of a professional and well-structured team environment.

The season includes 7 events and 14 races, along with 6 official test days—offering the perfect platform to perform and develop at a high level.

Please note that racing requires a financial commitment; applications without an appropriate budget will not be considered.

Sportbike line-up

RT Motorsports has experienced several eventful months. Following the impressive IDM Sportbike title win with Iñigo Iglesias, the team said farewell to the Spanish rider during the championship celebration.

Iglesias was a key part of a true dream team that achieved numerous victories and championships over the past three seasons.

In addition to Iglesias’ departure, sponsor Wematik also announced it would take a step back and no longer continue as title sponsor.

Despite these changes, team owners Rob Vennegoor and Gerald Lekkerkerker decided to move forward together with their successful team, supported by the trusted and experienced members of the organization.

Two young talents in one team A remarkable aspect of the upcoming season is the combination of two young and highly talented riders within RT Motorsports. In 2026, the team will once again compete with the Triumph Daytona 660 in the EuroMoto Sportbike Championship (formerly IDM).

Hudson Thompson

The 16-year-old Australian from Buff Point (NSW) followed the same development path as his well-known older brother Carter Thompson, progressing from the Motostars Championship to the R3 Cup and the ASBK SSP300 class. Hudson has already claimed multiple race victories. With his strong ambition and natural speed, RT Motorsports will once
again guide an Australian talent toward a successful European career.

Tom Kuil

The 17-year-old Dutch rider from Groningen progressed through various youth categories and the NTC. Victories and a championship in classes such as Junior Supermoto and Open 125
underlined his potential. A long-term injury kept him sidelined for some time, but during the NTC race weekend at the Nürburgring last September, Kuil once again demonstrated his class
by being the fastest Dutch rider.
