Leipzig people enjoying a cold and sunny Sunday out on a completely frozen Elsterflutbett, the artificial river course of the White Elster. I think half of the city was on the ice that day in January; whether on foot, with sleighs or ice skates, everybody joined the crowd; even a dude on a rental bike 😅
Really looking forward to rising temperatures, longer days and more bike rides, still wouldn’t mind another week of snow and winter though 🫢❄️

As always (since I got it) captured with the Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S on my Nikon Z6 II — really like how you can choose specific people or moments to be part of a bigger frame or the central element of a smaller one.
