🌟 Meet Percy, 87 years young. 🌟
Yesterday he was out in St Ives refereeing a kids’ match, just like he has done every week for decades.

Percy refereed his very first game back in 1973. That’s over 50 years of giving his weekends to grassroots football. 👏

And here’s the thing – grassroots football doesn’t just happen. It only works because people step up. Referees, coaches, linesmen, team admins… every single volunteer keeps the game alive.

The best part? You don’t need to be 87, a qualified referee, or a superhero. You just need to be willing to give a little bit of your time.
