Cuckoo Coding GmbH

Work hard, play harder! We decided we needed a little a break from coding awesome apps for our customers and had a little hackathon instead. We divided in 5 groups and each group took one old game and made a "cuckoo" version out of it.

We had 7 hours to code, and some real cool outcomes 🥳

We used Flutter Flame engine, a plugin for Flutter to develop games. Can recommend!

Women & Game Development = ❤

Kristina Waldt is teaching Game Design at Hochschule Hannover and loves to develop games with Unity. Yesterday she gave us a super fun intro workshop into the design as well as the programming part of game development. And Anna Weisenberger from nordmedia explained how to get funding for our games.
It was so great to see so many women at our Women Techmaker Hannover Meetup with different levels and areas of tech experience come together and talk about their history (herstory?) with gaming.

We're such Flutter fans at Cuckoo Coding, but next on our bucket list is Unity now, definitely! And getting some 3D design skills....

Oh there is so much to learn 🙂
