Wie können Unternehmen dem Fachkräftemangel begegnen und welche Rolle spielen internationale Talente dabei? 🌍📚

Mit diesen Fragen haben sich Kyra und Robin im Rahmen ihres dualen Studiums bei der Agentur für Arbeit intensiv beschäftigt. Jetzt durften wir ihre Bachelorarbeiten in unserer Zentrale entgegennehmen, gemeinsam mit dem BAMF und dem Why not Logistics Team.
Besonders spannend für uns, beide haben sich mit der Integration internationaler Nachwuchskräfte in das deutsche Ausbildungssystem auseinandergesetzt und dabei auch unser Projekt Why not Logistics als Praxisbeispiel betrachtet.

Kyra konnte hierfür sogar eigene Erfahrungen aus einem Praktikum bei Emons einbringen. Dabei begleitete sie unter anderem das Onboarding unserer neuen Auszubildenden und erhielt direkte Einblicke in die praktische Umsetzung von Integration und Ausbildung.

Wir sind stolz und dankbar, dass Why not Logistics als Praxisbeispiel in Bachelorarbeiten aufgegriffen wurde. Dass die Erfahrungen aus dem Projekt Eingang in wissenschaftliche Arbeiten finden, zeigt, wie relevant das Thema für die Zukunft der Fachkräftesicherung ist. Die enge Verbindung von Wissenschaft und betrieblicher Praxis ermöglicht dabei einen wertvollen Austausch, der wichtige Impulse und neue Perspektiven für die Arbeitswelt und die Fachkräftesicherung von morgen liefert.

How can companies tackle the skills shortage, and what role do international talents play in this? 🌍📚

Kyra and Robin explored these questions in depth as part of their dual study programme at the Employment Agency. We were recently delighted to receive their bachelor’s theses at our head office, alongside representatives from the BAMF and the Why not Logistics team.

We found this particularly exciting, as both of them explored the integration of young international talent into the German apprenticeship system, using our Why not Logistics project as a practical example.
Kyra was even able to draw on her own experiences from an internship at Emons. Among other things, she supported the onboarding of our new apprentices and gained direct insights into the practical implementation of integration and training.

We are proud and grateful that Why not Logistics has been taken up as a practical example in bachelor’s theses. The fact that experiences from the project are finding their way into academic work demonstrates just how relevant the topic is for securing a skilled workforce in the future. The close link between academia and business practice enables a valuable exchange that provides important impetus and new perspectives for the world of work and the future of securing a skilled workforce.

Ein eigener LKW nur für die Azubis? 🚛

Genau das gibt es jetzt bei unserem Kunden "activcars" in Achim!

Mit dem neuen „Azubi-LKW“ sammeln die Nachwuchsfahrer nicht nur Fahrpraxis auf der Straße, sondern lernen auch alles, was im Berufsalltag dazugehört: die digitale Abfahrkontrolle per App, die Pflege des Fahrzeugs sowie die technische Wartung gemeinsam mit der eigenen Werkstatt. Ein großes Danke geht dabei auch an Chris, den Werkstattleiter, für die Unterstützung 👏

Besonders spannend: Mit dem Fahrzeug können sowohl Starrdeichsel als auch Drehschemelanhänger gezogen werden. So sammeln die Azubis wertvolle Erfahrungen im Drehschemel fahren.

Und das Beste? Ein zweiter "Azubi-LKW" ist bereits bestellt 😊

Ein WNL-Azubi hat seinen CE Führerschein bereits erfolgreich bestanden. Und ein anderer tritt schon bald zu seiner CE Prüfung an. Wir drücken fest die Daumen 🍀

Was sagt ihr: Wie wichtig ist gute Praxiserfahrung direkt in der Ausbildung?

A dedicated truck just for the trainees? 🚛
That’s exactly what our client “activcars” in Achim now has!

With the new “trainee truck”, the young drivers not only gain driving experience on the road, but also learn everything involved in day-to-day work: digital pre-departure checks via an app, vehicle care and technical maintenance in collaboration with their own workshop. A big thank you also goes to Chris, the workshop manager, for his support 👏

Particularly exciting: the vehicle can tow both rigid drawbar and turntable trailers. This allows the trainees to gain valuable experience in driving turntable trailers.

And the best part? A second ‘trainee truck’ has already been ordered 😊

One WNL trainee has already successfully passed their CE driving test. And another is due to sit their CE test very soon. We’re keeping our fingers crossed 🍀

Zukunft der Logistik mitgestalten 🌍🚀

Bei der Sitzung der Kommission Berufliche Bildung des DSLV durften wir über aktuelle Entwicklungen, neue Ideen und internationale Ausbildungsperspektiven im Projekt Why not Logistics sprechen.

Der Austausch mit Unternehmen, Landesverbänden und dem DSLV hat einmal mehr gezeigt, wie wichtig gemeinsame Lösungen für die Zukunft der Logistik sind.

Wir freuen uns immer, unser Projekt bekannter zu machen, neue Einblicke zu teilen und gemeinsam Aufmerksamkeit für internationale Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten in der Logistik zu schaffen 🤝

Ein besonderes Highlight war außerdem der Besuch im Bundesrat mit spannenden Einblicken hinter die Kulissen der Politik und Gesetzgebung 👀

Helping to shape the future of logistics 🌍🚀

At the meeting of the DSLV’s Vocational Training Commission, we had the opportunity to discuss current developments, new ideas and international training prospects within the ‘Why not Logistics’ project.

The exchange with companies, regional associations and the DSLV has once again shown how important joint solutions are for the future of logistics.

We are always delighted to raise awareness of our project, share new insights and work together to draw attention to international training opportunities in logistics 🤝

Another special highlight was the visit to the Bundesrat, which offered fascinating behind-the-scenes insights into politics and legislation 👀
