Wellness, right on Rosenthaler Platz. 🌿
Ambinoid is a premium CBD shop — tinctures, gummies, creams, and the kind of staff who actually know what they’re talking about. Ida and Flo will help you find what works for you, no guesswork.
Word of the day: die Fachkenntnis (n.) — specialist knowledge; expertise. These two have it.

Accessible from the U-Bahn, stepless entry, elevator to the third floor. ♿
Berlin is full of beautiful old buildings that weren’t built with everyone in mind. All on Board was a doctor’s office before it was a language school — which means the accessibility was already there. Small classrooms, moveable tables, adapted bathrooms, and a team you can contact directly if you have questions before signing up.
Two words from the video:
die Straßenbahn — the tram
die Klingel — the buzzer
You’ll need both to find us. 😄

Wortschatz-Time: der Bock 🐐
You’ve probably heard “ich hab keinen Bock” a hundred times. But do you know why a goat is involved?
Turns out “Bock” shows up everywhere in German — a strong beer (Bockbier), a sausage (Bockwurst), even a scapegoat (Sündenbock). One little word, a whole world of meaning.
We break down where it all comes from — Kreuzberg breweries, Bavarian dialect, even a theory tracing back to Romani — in this week’s blog. 🍺🐐

New to German — or picking up where you left off? This July we have beginner and elementary courses starting in Berlin-Mitte, and spots are still open. 🇩🇪
We teach in small groups (max 12 students) so you actually get to speak — not just sit and listen.

🟡 Intro to German — 20–24 July · 1 week, Mon–Fri 10am–1pm · €145

Zero German needed. In five mornings you’ll go from Hallo to holding a basic conversation.

🟢 A1.1 Evening — starts 14 July · Tue & Thu 6:30–8:45pm · 7 weeks · €294

Our full beginner course — learn to introduce yourself, navigate daily life, and understand what people are saying to you. Starts next Tuesday.

🔵 A2.1 Evening — starts 20 July · Mon & Wed 6:30–8:45pm · 8 weeks · €336

Already got some German? A2.1 is where it starts to click — from surviving conversations to actually enjoying them.

Our courses run right by Rosenthaler Platz U-Bahn or online. And if you’re further along, we teach all the way up to C1 — so there’s always a next step.
Not sure which level? Take our free placement test. Book a course. Both in the link in bio 👆

Berlin’s best bagel is hiding one street off Rosenthaler Platz. 🥯

has great atmosphere for culture, art from Budapest you can actually win, and a flavourful lox bagel that I can’t wait to go back for! A short walk from the school and worth every step.

Word of the day: der Geheimtipp (n.) — an insider tip; a place or thing known only to a few.

Zwei Schritte von der Schule — two steps from school. ☕
Rosie’s is your espresso in the morning, your Aperol Spritz after class, and your spot to meet people from everywhere in between. Connected to a hostel, next to the tram, and yes — there’s a David Hasselhoff museum in the basement.
Word of the day: Abwechslung — variety, a change of pace. Rosie’s has it covered at every hour.

The law says you have 14 days to register after moving in.
The Bürgeramt: how does August work for you? 😅
So you ask a friend.
Karl helps Jackie understand everything they need for an Anmeldung appointment — including the Wohnungsgeberbestätigung, a form your landlord signs to confirm you live in the flat you’ve been renting.
If you’re new to Berlin, save this one.
Vocab from the video:
der Termin → the appointment
das Formular → the form
der Vermieter → the landlord
die Anmeldung → the registration
Doing all of this in German? That’s what we’re here for. Courses from A1, in Mitte and online → link in bio.

Good teachers are hard to find. Ours remember what you struggled with last Tuesday, and still believe in you when you’ve mixed up dative and accusative for the fourth time.
We took them for a picnic. We are so grateful!
Danke schön, team. Wir schätzen euch 🌿

Last month we took a trip to Potsdam 🏛️ — one of the perks of learning with us.
We love taking our students out to practise German in real life. Walking tours, day trips, little adventures — it’s all part of learning with All on Board.
And speaking of getting together — Stammtisch is TONIGHT 🍺 Südblock, Kottbusser Tor. Come along, speak German, meet people. All levels welcome.
