🌍 Stronger Together: Empowering youth leaders through grassroots sport
We are proud to announce the completion of the “Stronger Together: Creating Youth Champions to Transform Communities through Grassroots Sport” project and the launch of the second edition of the "Let’s Get Moving Together!" toolkit.
Implemented in 2024–2025 with the support of the UNESCO Participation Programme, the project brought together a co-hort of youth leaders from Namibia, Zambia and South Africa, strengthening their capacity to design and deliver safe, inclusive and welcoming grassroots sport initiatives in their communities.
✨ What’s new in the second edition?
A brand-new Chapter 6 on intercultural communication in grassroots sport, developed directly from the lived experiences, reflections and feedback of the youth leaders involved in the project. The updated toolkit offers practical, easy-to-use strategies that can be applied immediately at community level.

In the spirit of the Olympic Day celebrated today, June 23, we are excited to announce that Prof. Pierre-Olaf Schut, Professor at Gustave Eiffel University (France), will join our upcoming Global Teaching Excellence online session, hosted by ICSSPE in collaboration with the Ludwigsburg University of Education, Sport Department.
As a late celebration of the Olympic Day, this session will continue the global conversation on the values and future of the Olympic Movement.
