In his expansive career spanning over four decades, Mr. Metzger has directed numerous stage productions and since 2018 has been the artistic director at Theater Ulm. He has also served as the artistic director at the Landestheater Detmold from 2004 until 2018 and at the Nordharzer Städtebundtheater from 1999 to 2004.
