Scott and the late Gwendoline Hunt, there was no turning back; those inspirational teachers set her on the path of Yoga. Bea feels fortunate having practised with some great teachers like Lino Miele, Nancy Gilgoff, Alex Medin and Denise Christian. She discovered the gentle yet powerful delights of Scaravelli Yoga through her teacher Giovanni Felicioni and John Stirk. Two years ago Bea met Lisa Sanfillipo, an Anusara teacher. Through Lisa, a curiosity and trust was inspired to deepen the Yoga practice through a heart focus, which is the essence of Anusara Yoga. Bea has now completed her Anusara Teacher Training and is in the process of gaining her Anusara-Inspired status. Bea has been teaching since 2002 and including a wide spectrum from group classes at Moving Arts Base, Islington to teaching privates and Pregnancy Yoga for a Linklaters, a leading London law firm. Bea also teaches trapeze for children and works for The Circus Space, London, as a freelance circus consultant. She now lives in Berlin with her two children. The precarious concept of work/life balance continues to be both a challenge and an inspiration!
