It has been a few weeks since we released our debut album Integration. Thank you for listening. If you haven't got round to it yet: the link is in the bio.

We are very proud of the album and can't wait to release the vinyl edition on September 27th.

The vinyl version is very different to the digital version. We made the record specifically for Vinyl. Each side is a single piece of music. This is the way the album was made and was only seperated out for the digital version. It is "integrated": each song flows from one to the next like a dj mix. It was mastered for Vinyl by the amazing at . We are excited to share it with you. You can pre order the Vinyl now.

Love Command0 - Integration

Love Command0 are husband and wife combo Fox(ex Fight LikeApes) & Bex. Having moved from Dublin to Berlin, they've delved into the weird and wonderful world of Italo and produced this astounding modern example. Opener, 'Night
Creep' will have you sold immediately. The centrepiece is lifted from the deranged (Steven Morris) video dating blooper, among many dubious love candidates. Bex sings "Give me a reason to love the night creep" over the magnificent early '80's synths creating a dancefloor killer. 'Guilty' has the proper throwback authenticity, with the synth baseline and the effected vocals. Providence' comes across like a soundtrack to a period John Carpenter movie, again using samples. 'Glass' opens with a poem delivered by Richard Burton in the '60s movie curio Candy and has a more modern Italo style and structure hinting at LCD Soundsystem's origins. 'Make it Right' is the heavily vocodered single and like 'Glass' is a more modern interpretation of the genre. 'We are Love Command 0' makes a fine effort at extolling what the duo are about. '80s pop synths, a funky bassline and Bex delivering "(we/she/they) are love commando "implying we are all Love
Command 0, and if you dig the tune as much
as I do then it's positively true. The title track rides a
grooving bassline, disco notes with some jazz/funk
brass creating a proper chugger that passes the 8- minute mark. This album reveres the vintage majesty of Italo but also makes it the freshest thing on the
dancefloor. DC

We are delighted to finally be able to share our debut long player "Integration" with you all. We made this album in a small box room in Kreuzberg 4 years ago.
During the lockdown period, we got antsy and drove from the hills of Wicklow to Berlin with a car full of synths and our Alaskan Malamute Wolfie.

We wanted to make something that spoke to our own experience around masculinity and femininity and the broader conversation around it. (N.b. masculinity and femininity not male and female). The album is a concept that begins its journey in the toxic soup of the uber-masculine and moves through the stages of psychological integration. It confronts the shadow of the psyche and the murky sludge of living without authenticity. The warlike samples represent the rage and defensiveness often experienced when trying to hold onto a version of ourselves and the world that no longer serves us. The vocoders represent something sacred: that voice in our head that tells us that maybe we can be better. Bexes vocals represent the divine feminine and all its empathetic prowess...And of course, as with all good stories, it may as well take place in space.

We were very to work with such great people on this.

We are Love Command0

Thank you for interviewing us for .ie . The article was printed last Friday. Friday was supposed to be our album launch but unfortunately, due to a ghost in the machine, we had to delay till 5th July. The vinyl will be released on September 26th on . Silver lining wise: we happy to have the extra time to promote it.

We will play our album launch this Friday in in friedrichstain.

We can't wait to share the album with you all. We are very proud of it. We will be playing it in full on Friday. and will also be playing records on the night.

Our album launch party will still take place on June 28th in Urban Spree, Freidrichstain at 23.59.

We are really excited about this one. Dj Einkaufswagen and Mark Jennings will also be playing some choice cut disco/italo bangers.

Our album integration is just a few weeks away now and will land on June 21st on . Its been a long journey getting it to this point and we are really looking forward to sharing it with you all.

Our new single "Make it Right" will be out on Friday. It will be on spotify from 12am. The music video directed by will premiere on later on that day.
