III THE EMPRESS

The Empress is the third tarot card in the major arcana. She represents femininity in its most assertive way. The Empress stands for taking control over one's own life as woman, of being at one with nature and the earth but also one's own identity. The Empress is the business woman, the military soldier, the mother or the artist. She expresses power, creativity and in traditional readings she indicates strong fertitility and maternity. She calls for you to connect with your sensuality, your deeply caring relationships to others and with your own happiness, to be dancing in the kitchen and to give love to those in need. Love yourself and love others and do not be afraid to dive deeply into the ambience of Venus.
