Hoje decidi ser turista na minha própria terra 🌿
Fiz um tour ao Porto Moniz com a e foi uma experiência mesmo especial.
Grupo pequeno, guia super bem-disposto e cheio de conhecimento sobre a história, fauna e flora da Madeira. Passámos por estradas antigas que são verdadeiros miradouros 🚐✨
Mesmo conhecendo estes lugares, a Madeira nunca é igual — o microclima muda tudo: nevoeiro, sol, vento… e a paisagem transforma-se 🤍
E ainda há a vantagem de não ter de me preocupar com estacionamento 🙌
Recomendo muito esta experiência! Mesmo para os residentes fazerem com amigos e familiares.

Some of the attractions of Madeira are the hiking trails

Some Madeira's hiking trails now have an access fee for tourists, with the aim of funding the conservation and maintenance of the trails

The fee, which is €3 per person, per route, must be paid online via the ‘Simplifica’ digital platform on the Regional Government's website, at least 24 hours before the route is to be used. Proof of payment must be kept and presented to the authorities if there is a control

At Portuga🇵🇹l, the Carnation Revolution of 1974 was symbolised by the carnations that the soldiers, who overthrew the dictatorial regime in power at the time, wore on the barrels of their rifles.

The red carnation: a symbol with an history that still symbolises courage, freedom and solidarity today.
