argobooks originated from more than fiftteen years of collaborative work on catalogues and books with renowned international artists and institutions for contemporary art. Founded in 2007, argobooks focuses on artists’ books and books on art and theory. We are initiating and co-publishing books with artists and curators, Institutions for Contemporary Art, Museums and private collectors.

Found whilst reorganising the archive: in 2002, I had the privilege of editing the accompanying catalogue for the exhibition “The Object Sculpture” at the Henry Moore Institute, an initiative by Penelope Curtis. It was designed by Pay White. It was not merely the catalogue for the exhibition of the same name, curated by Tobias Rehberger, Joelle Turlinckx and Keith Wilson, but a work in its own right. Many works were re-enacted, such as André Cadere’s “Barre de bois ronds, 1977” or Ririkrit Tiravanija’s “Brychy Bar”, from 2001 at Waling Boers’ BüroFriedrich in Berlin.
