It’s my birthday today! And those who know me know how much I love animals—especially dogs. Last summer, I even adopted a stray dog from Turkey, which was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.

“Between two worlds”

I’ve always felt torn between two worlds, never fully accepted in either. Growing up between Turkish and German cultures, facing both family history and personal experiences of racism, wasn’t easy. But it also revealed an incredible strength. My roots, despite the pain, are a source of pride and deep connection.

Music has become my bridge, where both cultures coexist. While I didn’t feel accepted as a child, I now cherish the richness of my heritage and the duality that shaped me.
