second in the series and complementing the first, these iterations of figures are based on a photograph taken by Farah, and again transformed by digital aberrations resulting from the creation of an autostereogram, wherein an addition layer of depth emerges when viewed in a particular way.

In a parallel sensorial analogy, these two visual works reinforce the experience of auditory hallucination within the musical composition, a hidden embeddedness.

The duo LABOUR traces connections between ritual and the political dimensions of club culture in an immersive sound experience. The work is inspired by the obscure practice of gazing at the sun and melds together sound synthesis, percussion, video, and dance.
