no 2025 post, but big news: managing my bookings myself again. thx .agency it’s been a pleasure to work with and as my first agents. grateful!

will post some in-depth opinion on the topic of agency vs self mgmt soon, but for now just a few thoughts:

I’ve been my own agent for 10+ yrs. after handing the booking duties over, I actually started missing some things that come with the book worx.

mainly
connecting with promoters, night managers etc. in person way ahead of the actual the gig
building my o w n network ❀
last but not least: the thrill (!) of receiving a request and working on the deal.
