Hardsignal Recordings began as a global platform for harder-edged DJ sets, first as a forum and later evolving into a record label. Alongside the label, Hardsignal has continued to host mixes, podcasts, and radio shows that reflect the community’s passion for techno, hard techno, schranz, and hard groove. Many of the earliest sets have since been moved to Archive.org for long-term preservation, keeping the archive accessible for years to come, and keeping our focus where it has always been: Techno: past, present & future.
Currently, there are approximately 100 GB of sets in the archive.
If you would like your set removed or added, get in touch through Hardsignal.net

Had the absolute pleasure of having one of my biggest musical influences, Mark Archer, in the studio recently to record a Sonic Groove Podcast. This one was a milestone for me, too. One of the first times I’ve handled not just the audio, but the full video record as well. The episode goes live in about 24 hours.
If you know rave history, you already know his legacy. Mark’s been shaping electronic music since the late ’80s, from Nexus 21 through to the masked rave pioneers Altern-8, leaving a huge mark on early ’90s hardcore and beyond.
And on a personal note, it was extra special having him in because Mark also remixed “Breath of Life”, the track I made with Miss Djax. So, getting to sit down and capture this session felt like a full-circle moment.
