In the beginning of a consultation there is a thorough stocktaking of the current state of things. The actual behaviours aswell as factors in the environment, rituals & habits, diet, genetics, known diseases, possible pain, etc will be looked at. This will lay the foundation of a personalised and individual treatment plan, which sometimes extends the focus on the animal alone but also considers behaviours of the related humans and carers
