I once heard a girl say, "This is gonna sound strange but the easiest way I know I'm in the wrong is if I can't bring it up with my best friend." And you know what? She is right.

There's something about being able to be completely honest with someone, without fear of judgment or rejection, that gives us clarity. If we're hesitant to share something with our closest friend, it's probably because deep down, we know it's not right.

Our best friends know us, flaws and all, and they love us unconditionally. If we can't be transparent with them, it's likely because we're not being true to ourselves. It's like having an internal compass, and our best friend is the needle that points to true north.
