Every week, another 5 million maloti is added to the savings that Moeketsi Majoro has denied his fellow citizens, because of his refusal to proceed with the signed Frazer Solar agreement.
Ntate Majoro’s decision has already cost Lesotho a total of 422 million maloti, or around $US24 million.
Frazer Solar’s project would have improved the lives of virtually all Basotho.
With rising power prices, and large parts of the country likely to remain without electricity, people should ask Majoro why he denied them this life-changing technology.
This week, the failure to proceed with Frazer Solar’s project has left Basotho 417 million maloti (or US$24.8 million) out of pocket.
