It is the careful philosophies of modern designers that enable us to create our unique modern experience through the use of their products. Vintage People have developed sensitivity to what is evocative and functional design through their own lives by experimentation and education. We have traveled and met with designers of the highest caliber and manufacturers of the highest quality. In an effort to always be learning how to enjoy life more,we share our findings with you. Our boutiques feature a large collection of vintage rare clothing and costume jewelry showcasing decades of trends and designs from past eras. We curate an eclectic mix of hand-made, unusual and one-off clothes and accessories for women and men. Vintage People explore several concepts — at the forefront is the crossover between fashion and the juxtaposition of materials, scale and form. Boundaries between art and design are questioned by functional pieces that also hold sculptural qualities. We also indulge our personal obsession with retro art, textiles and jewelry and present them in new contexts. Although some of our pieces naturally lend themselves to either men or women, many items could be appreciated by both, thus creating a less segregated shopping environment. Rather than being label-led, we like to also present work by emerging and unknown designers and craftspeople from around the world, alongside our own expanding collections.
