The name of the street, Divadelní (divadlo means theatre in Czech), comes from the connection with the National Theatre, which is situated very close to Divadelní 1088/22. The building of Divadelni 1088/22 was built in the year 1905 by František Jiskra. The building was used from the very beginning as the apartments. Famous inhabitans of the house include Antonín Pelc, who was a czech charicaturist, ilustrator and painter. TO PRESENT


With the full respect to the historical site, the reconstruction was finished recently, in May 2015. The concept of Divadelní 22 arose from the idea that comfort can be found in little things. The fusion of historical and contemporary elements can be found everywhere. The apartments were painted mostly in neutral tones and the high-end italian furniture was used to fullfill the atmosphere of the calm, cozy and warm place. All living areas of each apartmant face west towards the river.
